So me and my friends Azuree decided to pull out the bikes on Today... why-- BECAUSE DAMMIT! Im so tired of waiting for winter to get the hint and stop calling me, lose my number and get your shit out my apartment!
Once i finally got Black Thunder (my bike) down my apartment stairs and into the warm beautiful hint of spring summer sun - it was ON. Black thunder and Blue Steel (Azuree's bike) hit the dark Grey pavement like two super heroes coming to save the people of krypton. With the wind blowing through our hair (ok this is starting to sound a little too good, i should prob add i umm you know had a talk with the green giant lol).

Time to condure up some magical spell to bring back summer -- summer dresses, summer park hangs summer flings and especially summer patio beers. To top off the refreshing bike ride down queen street west , past barthurst and remnants of the building we used to after party at before it burned down-- we sat down for tex mex and beer, window seat...just to add to this mirage

Now this right here really has me thinking i could run out side in my bikini - but for the sake of my criminal record -- ill wait till august


Now for those of you who live in Toronto here are some things you definably need to look out for during the way too short summer break



First in the Summer it is imperative that you find a proper watering hole -- here are some of the best Queen west Patios (yea yea i know -- im such a slave to trend.. more like im a slave to really hot guys who also hang out here ..lol)

1. Patio Beers:


TOP 5:

Drake (best in the summer)
Sneaky Dees (more all year round)
Beaconsvile (all year round, but best in the summer)
Embassy (in Kensington market but great in the summer)
Ronnies (in Kensington market - GREAT in the summer)

OTHER SPOTS:

Java house (great in the summer)
Shang-hi- cowgirl
Ciros
Cadilac Lounge
Chihovski (i may not even be spelling that right-- lol - but nice if your in the mood for dress shirts )
Rhino



NOTE: Before you read any further YOU WILL NEED A BIKE --- OTHERWISE SUMMER JUST ISNT THE SAME!!!!! TRUUUEEEE STTTOOORRRYYYY!!!!



2. PARK HANGS:

The only park you need to know about is Trinity Bellwoods Park..

You can walk your dog... you can drink wine and you can play tennis...

And for optimum park hang awesomness it is imperative that you bring a boom box, boxed wine and fruits to snack on... im telling you -- this will take a "good hang" to GREAT HANG!



3. BBQ's Well this is just obvious but i had to include it anyway


4. Illegal Swimming :

Another great thing to do (not that i am condoning illegal swimming) is sneaking into swimming pools on those super hot nights... its a great way to also meet really good looking people... cus we all know -- if you know your HOT you are all about showing it



5. Something i think is really under rated... simply being able to RIDE YOUR BIKE / TAKING WALKS

Something us Queen west kids just love doing... you would be surprised to see how many really good looking people find them selves walking/ riding around





ohhhh summer... where are you.. i can feel you but you just arnt here yet

but i know summer is coming and when it finally gets here -- i recommend you par-take in these great summer activities... bc i dam well know i will
